    1951 Stockton Ports program -
    Player-manager Harry Clements and pitcher Jess Duran are featured on the front cover of this great Stockton Ports program from the 1951 California League season.  It's from a game against the Modesto Reds at Hebert Field.  The California League was a Class C circuit in ;51, and the Reds were a Pirates farm club while the Ports were unaffiliated.  The program has the Ports roster, a composite league schedule and notes column with news about the Ports.
    Modesto's scheduled starters - Ted Adkins, Ron Boone, Jim Warner, Alan Wilson, future major leaguer Lee Walls, Dick Lopes, the colorful Dick "Dr. Strangeglove" Stuart, Duane Eckert and starting pitcher Jose Roman.
