The twin cities hosted the 1965 All Star Game at the Met, and the National Leaguers continued their dominance in the game, winning a 6-5 decision,  Home runs played a big part in the outcome, but it was a single by Cubs third baseman Ron Santo that proved to be the winner, driving home Willie Mays with the tie breaking run in the seventh.
The NL jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead after two innings on home runs by Mays' lead off home run in the first followed by a 2-run shot by Joe Torre.  In the second Willie Stargell connected for another 2-run shot.  The AL scored a run in the fourth and then erupted for four more in the fifth on a pair of 2-run homers by Dick McAuliffe and hometown hero, Harmon Killebrew.
The program has photos of all of the managers, coaches and players on both teams.  There's a feature on the highlights from previous games along with the linescores of all of the games.
