    The ‘Cantilever Column Pod’, designed and patented by Pfeiler, is the ideal solution for supporting Survey Equipment when there is NOT a stable footing surface for a tripod. It enables the user to setup their total station or scanner, up-over a point, anywhere between 6” and 20” from the corner of a column eliminating the need for a tripod. It can be attached to any square, round, or I-beam column of steel, concrete, or wood. It uses the endless strap ratchet system for fast, easy set up. Ideal for use in refineries, railways, bridges, or multi-story buildings, before the floor deck is poured. This unit will support up to 40 lbs. and weighs only 13 lbs
