For sale is a Thorens compatible TP60 headshell, thoughtfully designed and manufactured exclusively by Best Audio.
Engineered to provide more options than the classic TP60 headshell, our versatile design allows for top mounting, or bottom mounting, of your cartridge. The injection molded headshell has versatile cartridge mounting slots , and is designed to hold an M2.5 or M3 nut if mounting from below, and can accommodate screw sizes between M2 and M3 if mounting from the top. And we kept the instantly recognizable look of the Thorens original. We ship custom made brass slot nuts and screws size M2.5.
A non-branded hardware cover (metal badge) ships with the headshell, it can be affixed with a dab of silicone gel or double sided tape if you prefer to cover the mounting hardware. We think the headshell looks striking in an open architecture, exposing the screws - especially if using brass, gold/silver plate, or stainless steel mounting hardware.
Thorens badges are sold by others, readily available on eBay, if wanting to display a Thorens logo on your headshell.
The Best Audio headshell is slightly lighter in weight than the Thorens OEM headshell, you can add weight to the interior cavity if desired.
Our headshell ships with fully insulated OFC cartridge leads. And while we ship one set of brass slot nuts and screws, please use what is appropriate for your cartridge.
The Thorens OEM TP60 headshell with logo, shown below and to the left of the Best Audio headshell,  is shown for comparison only to help you identify the size and shape of our reproduction,  and is not included in your purchase. The Thorens TP11 arm wand and/or Thorens turntable is shown only to demonstrate how our product attaches to the arm wand via the locking collar nut, and is not included in your purchase.
