Topcon GTS-802A Robotic Total Station

I had the chance to use the Topcon GTS-802A once a long time ago. This machine left me some impression, especially when setting it up for work. As once you finish leveling it up accurately on the tripod, it automatically goes through a 6/6 self-test. Then its powerful motor sound surprises you while it starts spinning horizontally clockwise 180 degrees, stops and then 180 degrees again. But if during the 6/6 self-test it dectects any abnormality, for instance unleveled instrument, it will obviously display an error code.
This baby is a  precursor hi-tech machine designed by topcon two decades ago. It is simply impressive!
So when I received this one, there were a few things to do in order to get it turned on, like a little issue with the battery and connectors in battery compartment.
I was a little anxious while setting it up for the test.
I was wondering what was going to happen. "Was it going to work" The question was an obsession.
While playing with the foot-screws to level it, the accuracy required was hit, then to my greatest surprise appeared on the screen the self-test page. It went through all the 6/6 self-test; then automatically spinned around while emitting this great sound of a real motorized/robotic total station. It stopped at 180 degrees, then did the other 180 degrees. I knew from there there was something positive about the machine.
That put a big smile on my face even though I knew the EDM was not tested yet, which was a big concern too.
Then a set a prism away, aimed at it, shot the first distance like a game. Happiness and delightfulness filled me.
I shot one more distance, then again, then again...
After those main tests, I went through the other features. I checked the function of the simultaneous horizontal spin and telescop vertical rotation movement on 180 degrees.
I then checked the EGL(Electronic Guide Light) before going through alot more.
My inspection was thorough and took hours.
Everything worked with no issue.
After having said this is a used device with marks of normal use, my final conclusion is that this Topcon GTS-802A works like hell. It does not have any issue whatsoever; a powerful work horse.
It comes with things in photos and mentioned in package listing. Even though the two batteries charged for test, I don't know how good they are. I have a Topcon external power cable with alligator clips rusted that I threw in the package.
NEVERTHELESS, I HAVE A SET OF "TOPCON ROBOTIC ACCESSORIES" FOR THIS MACHINE IN ITS BLACK CASE.

A little bit about the Topcon GTS-802A.
This device is an all field conditions equipment. Whether it be the tightest control survey, high volume construction staking or a boundary survey with 3 second angular accuracy, the GTS-802A is suitable for use in the toughest environments. With such a rugged design, you have all the assurance.
Set it up, just sight the prism, activate the unique Topcon “wide beam” tracking system and the instrument locks on and follows the reflector wherever it goes. The fast servomotors will track the prism at a speed of almost 20-MPH (5 degrees per second). Using Topcons unique laser optical communication when activated sends a signal, which is detected by the total station.
