VINTAGE 8 DAY AUTO DASHBOARD CLOCK, SWISS MADE OCTAVA/ SCHILD

Description

This is a Vintage 8 Day Dashboard / Travel Clock by Octava with a Swiss made movement and case made by Schild. Beveled edge glass with no cracks or breaks. Inside it says 15 jewels.
It has a unique base which looks like rubber and is sloped.
The clock sits onto this base.
The dial is exceptionally attractive and I believe it is illuminates and is in great condition.
I believe it was over wound, so the movement is not currently working. Hands turn.  This belonged to my grandfather.   I recall it working many years ago.
